I teach guitar, ukulele, and piano lessons in the Columbia/Ellicott City/Baltimore County area of MD.  I have been teaching since 2006, and have taught students from ages 5 through 50′s.

I take an approach whereby students become self-motivated by learning songs that they’re passionate about, and through that, develop their own capacities for playing, reading, writing, improvising, and listening to music.  I believe that everyone has an innate capacity inside of them to become an excellent musician, and that they simply need a properly motivated and personalized approach to bringing it out.

I teach out of the student’s home, where students are comfortable learning and exploring music, and where parents can relax, fix supper, and not worry about adding to the amount of time they already spend in a car on weekdays.
